Associate Board

The Associate Board is a cohort of emerging leaders who advance Technovation’s mission to empower girls as AI/tech innovators and problem-solvers.

This dynamic group of passionate individuals drive fundraising initiatives, amplify our impact through advocacy, and develop essential board-level experience while building a powerful peer network of mission-aligned professionals.

Emma Yang, Associate Board Chair

Emma is an AI Researcher at Hudson River Trading, a quantitative finance firm in New York City, and is proud to serve as the inaugural Chair of Technovation’s Associate Board. She participated in the Technovation Challenge in 2015 and won second place globally in the Middle School Division, an experience that set her on a path towards technology and entrepreneurship and continues to motivate her advocacy for young women in computer science. Originally from Hong Kong, she recently graduated with bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Harvard, where she studied computer science, physics, statistics, and French.

Veena Anilkumar

Veena currently works as a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer at Intuitive in Atlanta. Her role is to ensure that the production line for the da Vinci surgical robot - specifically, the Patient Side Cart - runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible. As a Technovation alumna, she is passionate about equipping girls and young women with confidence and skills so that they can excel in their future STEM careers.

Tanya Ken

Tanya Elizabeth Ken is the founder of LakshyaShala EduTech, a social entrepreneurship company focused on "Equality in Education." A Technovation 2017 finalist and mentor, they are pursuing interests in embedded machine learning and robotics to create technology-driven solutions for healthcare and education, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering.

Nataliia Kulieshova

Nataliia is an undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley, pursuing a degree in Computer Science and Cognitive Science. She works with computational neuroscience, brain–computer interfaces, and the design of assistive technologies for individuals with disabilities. She is a Rise Global Winner (supported by Schmidt Futures and the Rhodes Trust), an 8VC Engineering Fellow, and an AI/ML Fellow at Cornell Tech.

Lilia Lobato

Megan Love

Megan Love is a Public Sector Technical Account Manager at Canva, where she partners with some of the world’s largest education systems, universities, and government organizations to implement secure, scalable technology that empowers millions of learners and educators. With experience supporting country-wide rollouts and complex authentication and provisioning needs, Megan specializes in helping offline institutions adopt digital tools that drive collaboration, creativity, and long-term impact.

Shefali Netke

Shefali is the VP of Product Design at SmartRecruiters, where she leads teams building AI-powered experiences that make hiring more human. She helped integrate AI into the design process through the successful launch of Winston, SmartRecruiters' AI companion. She has a background in Cognitive Science and is passionate about mentorship, creativity, and expanding access to opportunity through technology.

Hannah Rosen

Hannah is a software engineer at Google in New York City. She has built features on Google Search, Google Finance, and Jamboard, and is currently completing a six month Google.org fellowship working with the nonprofit Contrails.org. Hannah participated in Technovation in 2015 as a high school junior in Clarksville, Maryland.

Anshita Saini

Anshita is an engineer at OpenAI, where she works on ChatGPT Growth with the mission of making AI more accessible and useful for people worldwide. A proud Technovation alumna, she’s passionate about education and inclusive AI development. After founding her high school’s Technovation Club, she’s thrilled to continue championing women in tech as part of the Associate Board.

Vanshikha Sinha

Vanshikha is a Technical Program Manager at NVIDIA in the Bay Area and a UC Berkeley graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Her commitment to empowering girls and young women in technology, business, and design began with her participation in Technovation in 2017, followed by serving as a Student Ambassador for the Greater Toronto Area in 2018. She now continues to support this mission as a member of the Associate Board.

Ritika Shrivastava

Ritika is the Co-Founder & CTO of Ember Robotics, where she builds tools that keep robots running reliably. A former Tesla Autopilot engineer and Y Combinator alum, she also guest lectures at UC Berkeley on SLAM and perception, and enjoys playing tennis in her free time.

Daria Tabunshchyk

Daria is a Software Engineer at FactSet. She holds a BSc in Systems Analysis from NTUU (Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute) where she graduated with honours, and is currently pursuing an MSc in Computer Engineering at Ilmenau University of Technology, focusing on an AI-related thesis.

In 2017, Daria was part of a Technovation Ukraine regional winning team. She later returned to Technovation as a Student Ambassador and went on to mentor several teams, including another regional winner in 2019.

In 2022, together with a Ukrainian team, The IT Girls, and with the support of Technovation, she co-founded the youth civic organisation SVIT.

Daria is passionate about sharing her technical expertise and empowering the next generation of tech leaders.

Sana Talwar

Sana is a Product Security Engineer at ServiceNow in the Los Angeles area. She works on building secure products and helping teams develop safely and efficiently. She’s also passionate about creating more opportunities for women and girls in STEM, AI, and security.

Soumya Tejam

Soumya is a go-to-market operator at a NYC fintech startup. She previously backed underrepresented founders at Harlem Capital and climate-tech startups at Blackhorn Ventures. A Technovation 2015 global finalist, she's passionate about creating pathways into tech for young women innovators.

Pasang Wangmo

Pasang is a Technovation alum and an Emory University graduate with a degree in Neuroscience. She’s now working in the financial services industry, where she loves blending analytical thinking with creativity. Passionate about learning and growth, Pasang enjoys exploring how science, technology, and business connect to shape the future.
